Draft Beer Line Sanitisation
When pouring a glass of Draft Beer from the tap, you should get a one inch head of foam. And if you don’t, either the glass or beer line is dirty. And usually it’s the beer line.
The objective to sanitization is to ensure that the top-quality draft beer is dispensed from the brewery to the customer. Draft beer dispensing lines need periodic cleaning and sanitizing. The time lapse between each sanitisation depends on factors such as:
• The effectiveness of the beer line sanitisation
• The beer storage temperature
• The beer residence time in the lines in between servings
• Consumption flow of beer dispensed
To achieve best effect, sanitation should be conducted every 10 days to a maximum of 14 days.
